Dear Association activist or Board Member of 2018, welcome to the Organization Start on 30.1.2018!
Organization Start is a joint education event for both TTYY’s and Tamy’s associations’ board members. The event replaces the traditional Guild Training Day and Gala of TTYY and Big Association Blast of Tamy. Organization Start will be an exceptionally big organization education event in Finland – 400 participants, 30 educators, 17 workshops. Welcome!
There will be 17 workshops altogether, of which three is held in English. The workshops will be held at TUT campus in Hervanta between 12.00 and 5.00 pm. The evening programme will be at Pakkahuone and Klubi in the city centre starting from 7.00 pm. Before the evening programme, there’s an opportunity to participate in a voluntarily campus tour in TUT. Bus transportation is provided for participants from Tampere hall to Hervanta before the workshops and from Hervanta to Pakkahuone in the evening.
The workshops, after party and transportation are free of charge for all participants.

Basics of student association activities

What are the tasks and responsibilities of the members of the board? Why are meeting procedures needed and what do they consist of? Welcome to learn basics of organisational activities in English!
Development cooperation workshop

Students of economics, engineering, communications and social sciences, heads up! Tamy and TTYY are launching their working group for development cooperation in a workshop to plan the next project. The session is open for all and the aim is to plan ways for student participation within the project. All the necessary information will be given at the beginning of the workshop.

How to integrate international students better into university community in Finland? How student organizations can encourage international students to take part in their activities? In this workshop, which is intended especially for the international organizers of associations, we discuss about internationalization of the campuses and tackle the problems, which have arisen among international students. How can you as student organization player affect this?
